Kevin OConnor is in the MFA program at Old Dominion University. He has published poetry in many journals, including SlantAnderboThe Fourth River, BayouBluestemLiterary JuiceThe Tulane Review, and The Pinch. In 2013, he won the Pocataligo Poetry Prize and was nominated for the Pushcart. He lives in Norfolk with his hyper-energetic cat Walt. In his spare time he enjoys reading, roasting coffee, playing guitar, and traveling. His favorite two cities in the world are New York and Buenos Aires. He especially likes eating medialunas and drinking café con leche!
