Samantha Ten Eyck is a writer and English instructor at Saint Paul College. She lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota with her husband, two dogs, and cat. Her cat’s name is FeiFei, which translates to “fat fat” in Chinese. Oh–Samantha Ten Eyck spent a few years in Beijing, where she studied Mandarin, went on adventures, and taught English to adorable (mostly) children. While in China, Samantha’s English writing was put on hold due to Chinese turning her worldview and ideas about language upside-down, but now she’s back in the states and working on publishing poems, fiction, and non-fiction. Her work as previously been published in Cider Press Review, C4 Lit Mag, and Nanoism.
