Doomed Love by Oonah V. Joslin
Oonah is no gardener but she is creative about being a bad gardener. She decided in her wisdom that a couple of BIG boxes would be a great idea at the front of the bungalow (instead of grass) and that one of these should be home to — a pink pampas grass. It was all down hill from there! After a few years of fighting, one of us had to go. The plant lost! But she would have liked pink fluffy fronds.
Oonah is currently Poetry Editor at The Linnet’s Wings. You can also find Oonah at http://www.oovj.wordpress.com and all the sites in the Header list, http://oonahs.blogspot.com/, at her former employ at www.everydaypoets.com, and as three-times winner at http://www.microhorror.com. Or you could just Google Oonah V Joslin and see what happens.

Love this! It reminds me of the photographs in gardening catalogs with large shrubs covered in large clusters of blossoms, and acres of naturalized bulbs all blooming in a meadow. Ha! Maybe in twenty years, but not the next season. Keep at it Oonah!
