Jacqueline Jules is a school librarian who left public education when the testing environment became overwhelming. As a reader, she devours every genre—biography, poetry, mystery, etc. As a writer, she doesn’t restrict herself to one genre, either. Her poetry has been published in over 100 journals and she is the author of 40 books for young readers on a wide variety of topics. She is also the author of three poetry chapbooks, Field Trip to the Museum (Finishing Line Press), Stronger Than Cleopatra (ELJ Publications), and Itzhak Perlman’s Broken String, winner of the 2016 Helen Kay Chapbook Prize from Evening Street Press.
