Yes, Cyn knows she might have the best pen name ever, and no she didn’t make it up, though she would like to put some distance between herself and the ex who gave it to her. If you go looking for her in the real world she’s a Fitch. She didn’t make that one up either. Speaking of the real world, that’s where Cyn teaches creative writing at Knox College. Her book, Ten Tongues, was published in 2010 and her fiction, nonfiction and poetry are in places like Midwestern Gothic, Louisville Review, and Still: The Journal. Cyn makes her home in Forgottonia, a downstate region on the Illinois prairie where she keeps chickens and cats on her little farm, Spitfire Hill.
