An Invitation to Dance in the Mobile Home by Grace Marie Grafton

Grace Marie Grafton has been writing poetry for four decades. Six collections of her poems have been published, the most recent titled Jester (2013) She has taught literally thousands of elementary school children the art of writing, through her work with California Poets in the Schools. Some things that inspire Grace to write are orchids and ravens, art and mediation, love, curiosity and the sounds of words. She currently lives in the hills of Oakland California, after living all of her life in the Golden State. All around her are birds, small and large, including a flock of wild turkeys, other creatures such as salamanders, squirrels and skunks as well as the glorious redwood, bay and oak trees.
