Unrealistic Expectations by David Cook

David Cook lives with his family in Bridgend, Wales, UK, which is a bit like Las Vegas, but without the glamour, prestige, casinos or sunshine to distract him from the noble pursuit of writing whatever comes into his head and then immediately deleting it. Somehow he’s ended up being published in quite a few places, including the National Flash Fiction Anthology, Spelk, Flash Fiction Magazine and Sick Lit Magazine, who saw fit to nominate him for the Pushcart Prize.
You can find links to more of his work at, and you can say hello – or something else if you’d rather, but ‘hello’ is usually a good start – on Twitter over @davidcook100.
