Wendy Taylor Carlisle lives with her husband, three dogs and two cats in a hillside home they built in the Ozarks. She loves everything about her homestate except Arkansas politics. She has an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts and is the author of Reading Berryman to the Dog and Discount Fireworks (both Jacaranda Books.) and three chapbooks with a fourth from Platypus Press, UK, this month.
