Sally Zakariya has been writing all her life—articles, fiction, poetry, random notes and lists. She lives in Northern Virginia, where she studies poetry and Spanish and writes at an antique desk looking out at telephone wires and maple trees. Her poems have been published here and there, including in Apeiron Review, Broadkill Review, Hartskill Review, Emerge, and Lunch Ticket, among others. She loves food, music, movies, cats, and her wise husband, but not necessarily in that order.
