Penick is not someone you’d notice on the street.  His poetry, prose and artwork has appeared in over 100 different literary journals, including The Hudson Review, North American Review, and Plainsongs.  He lives in Louisville, KY, USA, with his free-range box turtle, Sheldon.   1. It’s 6:12 a.m and this is the first thing I read this morning. Mr. P., I raise up my coffee in tribute. Love the pov. Love the images, esp firefly vs torch. Grain of sand, grain of sand. Thanks for the perfect start.
