Mindela Ruby is the author of the frisky and heart-felt punk rock sex addiction novel MOSH IT UP (2014). Her poetry and short prose can be found in print and online. She is tempestuously drafting a full-length memoir and giddily pulling together a collection of 100-word stories about long marriages, tentatively titled DRIVING TO JAIL. In the past, she has found employment as an artist’s model, radio DJ, continuation high school substitute teacher, and SAT tutor. Having survived and completed a doctoral program in English, she now teaches college writing in an underserved community and moonlights as a literary consultant. Much of Mindela’s spare time is dedicated to trying to woo her rescue Maine Coon kitty, named David Foster Wallace, into her arms. Please visit her at www.mindelaruby.com.
