Michelle Donfrio is a unicorn trapped in a human body. It’s this fantastical magic that helps her weave words into stories and poems. Although it can be argued that unicorns don’t exist, neither does the written word until it’s laid out on the page. Readers bring words to life and if that isn’t unbelievable, what is? When she’s not writing, Michelle spends much of her time commuting to work in Chicago. You may even run into her on the sidewalk, at the corner of Dearborn and Lake. Since you’ll most likely be looking at your phone, it’s very possible that you will run into her. Michelle has been published recently at Crack the Spine and within Silver Birch Press’s Great Gatsby Anthology.
