Martin Willitts Jr is a retired librarian. As a child, he worked on his Mennonite/Amish grandparent’s farm. He won the 2014 Broadsided Award; the 2014 Dylan Thomas International Poetry Award; and the Rattle Ekphrastic Challenge, June 2015, Editor’s Choice. He has 8 full-length collections and over 20 chapbooks of poetry. His forthcoming include How to Be Silent (FutureCycle Press), God Is Not Amused With What You Are Doing In Her Name (Aldrich Press), and Dylan Thomas and the Writer’s Shed (FutureCycle Press). He was recently published in Turtle Island Press.
