Lurana tries to live as if each day were her last, so the challenge is fitting in what matters most. She is a licensed massage therapist, pianist/accompanist, and gardener, and she leads two Girl Scout troops with her two young daughters. She grew up in New Jersey and lives in the Chicago suburbs. She believes in kindness. Her poetry has been published by Shoe Music Press and the Blue Hour Magazine, is forthcoming in anthologies by the Blue Hour, Swimming with Elephants, and the Visionary Press Collaborative, and can be found on her blogsite: luranabrown.com.
