Eileen Sateriale came into this world with the baby boom. One of five children, she had to move fast or lose out. The day after Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin set foot on the moon, Eileen became a teenager and quickly learned that the expression “One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind” wasn’t about her.  Eileen grew up in Boston, MA, lived for twenty years in the Washington DC suburbs and recently moved back to New England.

Eileen has been married to a wonderful man for 30 years and is the mother of two independent and brilliant daughters. When her children were growing up and she was staying home with them, she attempted two novels. She also contributed to a newspaper column for the children’s school. She writes poetry, short stories and travel articles. Her work has appeared in Forget Me Knots from the Front Porch anthology and Freedom Isn’t Free anthology as well as other print and on-line media.
